My Giving Attracts God’s Attention

Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read

“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!””
Acts 10v1-2

Cornelius was a Roman Centurion. A man who was not entitled to the covenant of God but he was influenced by God to be devout. He was giving of his wealth and resources to the point where this attracted the attention of God. So much so that God sent an angel to him to speak to him with such accuracy that Peter was sent to his house to bring salvation to his house. Even Peter was surprised at how the spirit of God filled the room as he spoke about the gospel message to Cornelius and his family.

His generosity attracted the blessing of salvation to him and his household. God is faithful, he never withholds the blessings on your life. As you remain faithful in your giving, there is nothing that can hold you back. God blessed the household of Cornelius and even his servants received the blessing. Cornelius’s obedience opened the door to this blessing. Go ahead, make that decision to be relentless in your giving.
