You Are an Heir of God

“So that he could declare us good in God's eyes-- all because of his great kindness; and now we can share in the wealth of the eternal life he gives us, and we are eagerly looking forward to receiving it.”
God lavishly provides you with His own Presence, His Holy Spirit, working things in your life that you could never do for yourself. You have now put your trust in Christ and therefore are like Abraham, the Children of faith: “Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.” Genesis 21:10 NKJV
You are however, Abraham’s seed, and Heirs according to the Promise. This is so marvellous. Let us now look at the following Scriptures: “He received the mark of circumcision as a token or an evidence [and] seal of the righteousness which he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised— [faith] so that he was to be made the father of all who [truly] believe, though without circumcision, and who thus have righteousness (right standing with God) imputed to them and credited to their account.” Romans 4:11 AMP
“And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.” Romans 8:17 AMP. You are now God’s Son/Daughter and share the same inheritance that Jesus does. You have now become on with Him in His Glory.
