One with Christ

“That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
God lavishly provides you with His own Presence, His Holy Spirit, working things in your life that you could never do for yourself. You have now put your trust in Christ and therefore are like Abraham, the Children of faith: “Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, [even] with Isaac.” Genesis 21:10.
You are however, Abraham’s seed, and Heirs according to the Promise. This is so marvelous. Let us now look at the following Scriptures: “And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which [he had yet] being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:” Romans 4:11.
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.” Romans 8:17. You are now God’s son/daughter and share the same inheritance that Jesus does. You have now become one with Him in His Glory.
