You Have Authority to Bind and Loose

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
(Matthew 18:20 – NKJV)

We usually apply this scripture to a church service when there are many Christians present. Of course, it can refer to this, but what Jesus really was saying here is wherever there are two people who agree, He is right there with them to make their prayer good. Jesus was bringing out the fact that whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven. Heaven will back us up in what we do on earth. We have the authority to loose and to bind. We must not allow the devil to bind us.

When people become defeated and depressed, they think that there is nothing one can do about such a situation. But there is something that you can do. You can act on this scripture by agreeing in prayer with just one believer. Most times we pray that God would do something about it.

You must realize that you have a part to play. When you make your move, God will then make His move. When an adverse situation confronts you, put your Faith into action. Know that you have authority to bind and to loose.
