The Use of the Name of Jesus

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“You haven't tried this before, but begin now. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and your cup of joy will overflow.”
(John 16:24)

We have the right to use the Name of Jesus when we pray, praise and worship! That Name was given to us, the church and it has not lost its power. John 14: 12-14, “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you. 14 Yes, ask anything, using my name, and I will do it!”

Jesus was really saying that you are to take His place here on earth, and He will be your representative in heaven. Mark 16:17, “And those who believe shall use my authority to cast out demons, and they shall speak new languages.”

Your Heavenly Father freely grants you whatever you desire in accordance with His Will and purpose as established in His Word. What you ask for in Jesus’ Name is a done deal the moment you ask, therefore ask continually and receive all your desires from God so that your joy may be complete.
