Wisdom for Building Our Lives – Part 3

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“It is the Glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.”
(Proverbs 25:2 – AMP)

Psalm 145:19 AMP “He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.” Proverbs 22:4 AMP “The reward of humility and the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.”

Most of the promises are conditional upon us having the Fear of the Lord. Presumption often has the appearances of authority, but it is a profound folly. Assumption is the basic characteristic of Presumption, and those who assume, are lacking in a basic Respect of authority. For example: 2 Samuel 6:1-11 and the story of David and Uzzah – David because he was angry, then he got wise. We too must stay away from casualness and arrogance.

When we have a true and holy fear of the Lord, we do not have to fear anything else in the world. We have a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. If we begin to shake, we are on the wrong foundation. Jesus is our Rock and Foundation.
