God’s Principles for True Wealth – Part 6

“And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.”
Money won’t make you rich, because a man who is poor in spirit is poor altogether, even when he has a lot of money in his pocket. Money without the wealth of the soul is equaled to a compilation of sorrows and regrets. Only God enriches without adding sorrow to it.
God is calling all Christians to take up the challenge to be wealthy. They must change cultures by establishing God’s value system. World poverty is agonizingly real. It will never improve until individual Christians affect the culture of life, change the culture of nations, and improve their own financial situations.
The reason why a Christian desires financial freedom is not just to meet his or her needs, but also to answer the challenges of our world. God is calling Christians all over the world to take up the challenge of conquering the mountain of finances to subdue the earth for God. When Christians teach that the only way to be prosperous is by giving to the church or ministry, it is not the whole truth. The main purpose of money is not to meet needs but first to accomplish God’s purposes on the earth.
