You Are a Man / Woman of Integrity
Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read
“For we take thought beforehand and aim to be honest and absolutely above suspicion, not only in the sight of the Lord but also in the sight of men.”
Integrity is of most importance. Be trustworthy, dependable in character and honor and always be true to yourself. Integrity and wisdom are the two pillars of true success. If people cannot trust you, they will not do business with you. Integrity is not built overnight, it takes years but it is built into a spiritual fabric of personality hour by hour and day by day.
Therefore, associate yourself with men and women of good quality if you esteem your own reputation, for it is better to be alone than in bad company. Proverbs 19:1 AMP “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is perverse in his speech and is a [self-confident] fool.” Watch your thoughts, they become words, watch your words, they become actions, watch your actions, they become habits, watch your habits, they become character and watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
Be courteous and generous, for good manners and soft words have brought many in a difficult situation to a peaceable conclusion. Proverbs 15:1 AMP “A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.” Don’t be too tense and too serious, be a person with a good sense of humor. It is easier to talk or to listen to people who have a sense of humor than to a tense person. Humor spices life.
