Ye Shall Have the Light of Life

Jesus was very clear when He made the above statement about Himself. He said, “I am the light of the world…’ Every person that is born again is ‘Lit Up’. Glory to God! Light simply means; “The appearance of brightness; the amount of illumination in a place easily visible; approving presence or sanction; being visible or exposed.”

2 Timothy 1:10, “But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:” Since receiving Christ into your life, you are now the light of the world. This is just too wonderful.

You are indeed the Light of the world, Jesus further said, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14. So, remind yourself today that you are the light of the world. If you work as a butcher in a butcher shop, that is your world.

If you are a student at a college or university then that is your world. Be bold and courageous and begin to shine. As you go into your day let your light so shine before men.
