PRINCIPLE NO.4: Store up treasures in Heaven which yield unlimited benefits. We live in a very materialistic society. The major objective of most people is to acquire as much of the world’s wealth, obtain as many worldly possessions, and enjoy as much of the pleasures of this world as possible.
Most people spend their entire lives working, striving to obtain for themselves and their families, the very best of all that life has to offer. However, regardless of how much they obtain, they are not satisfied with what they have, and continually want more or something better than what they have.
Your heart is the very centre of your being. Whatever captures your heart will control you. If your wealth and worldly possessions have captured your heart, they will control you. That is why God wants your heart.
If He has your heart, He will have your finances. There will be no problem with your giving. The Apostle Paul said, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians 3:2)
