Jesus Christ, Increases the Fruit of Your Righteousness

“(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)”
Now I want you to zone in on the latter part of this verse. *“And increase the fruits of your righteousness.” So what God is saying, that for a new created Born Again Christian, it is His Will that the fruit of your Righteousness increase. What is the fruit of your Righteousness? You will pray for the sick and they’ll be healed. That’s the fruit of your Righteousness
You will lead men and women to Christ. In other words, Jesus Himself could not do that because He had not yet paid the penalty, He had not yet ascended unto the Father. He was not yet made a sin offering once and for all for humanity. But today, as the Church, we that are Born Again and have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, can say to the men that have fallen, “Hey this is the Gospel, this is the Good News. You can be saved. If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, your sins will be forgiven and washed away. You’ll become a new creature.” That is the fruit of your Righteousness. You’ll pray for the dead, they’ll be raised from the dead. That is the fruits of your Righteousness. Always know that the Lord Jesus Christ is not only the Lord of your life, but also the Saviour of the whole world.
