One Attribute of a Seed

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.”
Mark 10:29-30

Every seed has potential and this is very important to know and understand. Every seed that you will ever plant is a potential seed to the overflow. When seedtime comes into your life, God says, “Give!” Why? Because the seed you plant has great potential for a harvest in your life. In Genesis, God told Abraham, *“I can’t bring you to the hundredfold unless you get out of your house.” So God brought him out and we see in Genesis 13:2, that Abraham was very rich because He came out when God called him out. We see another Scripture that says the same thing: Mark 10:29, “And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,”*

We can be rich here on earth and still go to Heaven, *Mark 10:31 says, “But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last first.” This refers to those who have been at the bottom with regards to finances, especially in the household of faith. The Lord is saying that many who did not have money will have money. Jesus said, “Hundredfold.”* Whose words are you going to believe? God is unlimited and He is the God of the Overflow. The thirtyfold and sixtyfold are just to school us and the hundredfold is just to let us know where we are.
