Prophesying

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater [is] he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.”
1 Corinthians 14:5

This is part of worship and part of the service in a Spirit filled Church. *1 Corinthians 14:31, “For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.” Speaking forth under the unction of the Holy Spirit should be normal. Whether it be in a known Tongue or unknown Tongue

*1 Thessalonians 5:20, “Despise not prophesyings.” 1 Corinthians 14:39, “Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.” The scriptural rules governing the operation of these gifts is another subject matter. What I am trying to impart to you is the fact that, these manifestations of the Spirit must be part of our public and private worship

*1 Corinthians 14:37, “If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.” Prophesying over your church, your life, your future is so important. You begin to speak forth your future, Praise God! So follow the way of Love and eagerly pursue Spiritual Gifts, especially the Gift of prophesy. When you do this, you frame things that you want to see in your life
