The Wisdom of a Thriver

Jesus is our wisdom. We who are born again have been cleansed from all sin and justified, just as if we have never sinned. We have a new nature now, old things have passed away. There is a newness of life that Christ came to give us and in this life everything that used to be in our life is no more. We may have been foolish and silly, but now that we have received Jesus Christ, we are a project taken on by the Holy Spirit. He dwells in us, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. At the point of confession, the Holy Spirit goes to work on our nature, maturing us into the things of God. The evidence of this can be seen in the way we speak, Wisdom starts to flow out of our mouth into our environment. Where we were quick to answer a matter, we slowly take our time to weigh our words before we dispatch them. Jesus is this wisdom. It is a wisdom that does not come from the world, not from books, nor the things we have seen or experienced. This wisdom is from the heart of God. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and daily He is working in us to make us into the people He has called us to be. Spending time in prayer in the presence of God and taking a few minutes just to feed on the word, accelerates this process and the greater priority we give to this area of our lives, the more the evidence of wisdom will begin to flow out of our lives.

This wisdom is weighty, its priceless and goes beyond just answering the matter at hand. This wisdom has a 360 degree effect. It does not only think of the now, it ponders and considers the future and the consequences of haste. This wisdom increases your value as a person and causes you to Thrive. I suggest strongly you spend time with the master. In his presence is fullness of joy and at his right hand are pleasures for ever more. This wisdom equips you for your everyday life.
