The Grace to Do Mighty Works

“And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;”
God is a God of miracles and wonders. His presence in our lives, causes us to be a wonder to our world. The grace to do mighty works rests on our lives. We are anointed to heal the sick, speak words of wisdom and grace to the weary. We are carriers of the grace of God and show mercy to those who are over laden with sin and grief. We have the life of Jesus in us and we share this God life with those buried in sin. They are buried in a grave of sin and the stench of sin governs their lives. The love of Jesus in us reaches out and touches their lives and gives them a chance to live the life Jesus came to give.
It is the power of God working in us that causes us to do mighty works. This life we live can only be changed and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit working in us. Our love and compassion for souls is placed in us by the Holy Spirit. It is this love and compassion that can save our dying world. Salvation is the only answer. Jesus is the only way back to God. He has granted us the spirit of reconciliation, to reconcile man back to God. Be filled with the holy Spirit and power to do mighty works in your world.
