Purposefully Being a Blessing
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 2 min read

“He had to go through Samaria on the way. Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there; and Jesus, tired from the long walk, sat wearily beside the well about noontime. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Please give me a drink.” He was alone at the time……”
The scripture says, “he had to go through Samaria”. The reason he had to go to Samaria was to meet the Samaritan woman at the well. He needed to tap into the gifting in her life so she could change a city. When this woman was saved, she influenced an entire city to follow Jesus. Wow! Talk about purposefully being a blessing to someone.
In our own lives, there comes a time, we have to stop only thinking of ourselves and how to improve our own standard of living. We need to look around us for potential in people and tap into this potential so that they can also be touched by this great God who lives on the inside of us. There are people placed around you by God that are there to assist you and for you to influence so that the kingdom of God can be enlarged and flourish.
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you who you need to speak to, to tap into the potential in them to become influencers. Every one of us need Jesus, become soul conscious and fulfill your purpose in this life.
