The Anointing to Forgive

Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 2 min read

“Everyone who hates (works against) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer [by God’s standards]; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us]. And we ought to lay down our lives for the believers.”
1 John 3v15-16

The very thought of this scripture brings me in awe of the spirit of God. A person who hates is considered a murderer. Forgiveness is that important to God. If we do not forgive those who have hurt us or offended us, we are considered murderers. Actually, in the Gospels Jesus says, even before we bring our gift to the altar, we need to go back and forgive our brother or those we have an issue with and make the matter right. Why? Our heavenly father has forgiven us, so we ought to forgive others. The presence of God is vital in our lives and unforgiveness affects this beautiful presence in our lives. Is it worth the cost of the anointing and the presence of the holy spirit in our lives, to keep unforgiveness. Let us forgive and move on. Nothing is worth the cost of presence and power of the Lord in our lives. We are born to love from the father of Love.
