The Truth About Rejection

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
When you feel rejected and unwanted, dwell and think about the Love of the Father. The Father has bestowed great love on you and He even calls you “Children of God” and “Sons of God” so in spite of your feelings, know that God truly and deeply loves you.
The Father’s love for you is so great that He calls you His Son/Daughter and that is what you are. The enemy allows you to respond from your past hurts and pain so that he cripples both your present and your future. Rejection starts as a seed that is planted in our lives through different things that happen to us. The devil does not want to plant just a seed of rejection, he wants to plant it so deep so that it develops into a root.
A root that will go so deep that they have other rootlets attached to it. Rejection has no power over you now, because the Word of God has freed you. Your value is in what God thinks about you and not what others think about you. Keep reminding yourself that you are special and Beautiful. God accepts you, so it is about time you accept yourself.
