Leading an Extraordinary Life – Part 2

“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; 4 through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. 5 The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. 6 Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.”
Most people tend to blame everyone else for where they are, but would not admit, that they have a bad personal philosophy. It is easy to find excuses and to blame everyone, but that does not fix the problems in life. They tend to say, for example – the company that I work for doesn’t pay me enough, taxes are high, I come from a family of modest means, the banks won’t lend me money that I need or even that the economy is bad.
All the events that take place around you, and all the information that you are taking in from your environment, through your five senses, is being processed by your personal philosophy. If things are not working out well for you, you have to change your mind, you have to change your thinking, you have to change your personal philosophy and you have to set a better sail. Here are four things about the set of your sail:
1. The set of the sail, how we think and how we respond, has a far greater capacity to destroy our lives, than any challenges we face.
2. If the winds change, re-set your sail, instead of allowing yourself to be taken in a direction you did not wish to go.
