A Stress Free Lifestyle – Part 2

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.”
(John 14:1 – AMP)

You need to learn the value of living a stress free lifestyle. Train yourself to not let things bother you, therefore, develop a “whatever” attitude. You will have trouble in life, but that doesn’t mean that you have to be stressed out – 2 Corinthians 4:8 NKJV “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.”

It is your responsibility to not let your heart be troubled, not God’s (John 14:1). You have to choose peace rather than be stressed out, and believe God in the midst of turmoil. The way to get peace is to get into God’s Word – John 16:33 NKJV “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Be of good cheer – get happy.

Jesus has deprived the negative circumstances or situation of its power and has conquered it for you. You need to respond to stress through the Word of God and if you believe God, there is no room for fear in life. Focus on the Good news, rather than on the bad news of the world.
