Kingdom Leadership – Part 8
Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read
“Then the Lord said to Moses, "Summon before me seventy of the leaders of Israel; bring them to the Tabernacle, to stand there with you. I will come down and talk with you there, and I will take of the Spirit which is on you and will put it upon them also; they shall bear the burden of the people along with you, so that you will not have the task alone.”
Thorny ground – These are people who initially show some interest, then it all changes. It takes time sometimes for agendas to show up. Then there are those who love you, who lust over you (their desire is to benefit themselves at your expense) and therefore, are loyal to you only to the degree it promotes their agenda. Then there comes a time when they no longer benefit from that loyalty and then they withdraw.
They don’t understand what true loyalty is, because it can’t be bought or sold. Loyalty is a gift and when someone loves you, it’s a gift. For example: Why do you love your wife? Well, for no reason. If you have a reason, then you create a condition, and if the condition is not met, you no longer have a reason. It’s called – unconditional love.
So when people are distracted, cares of life, wealth, you no longer are a priority. Good people are sincerely devoted but then finally reveal themselves. It gets you mad, you ask questions, question your discernment, but the soil finally reveals itself.
