Release God’s Favor in Your Life – Part 8

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.”
(2 Timothy 4:6-7 – NLT)

Dreams without work accomplish nothing. Therefore, when one door closes, look for another. Paul, again and again, had setbacks and he sure did work hard. He fought discouragement, misunderstanding and distrust, to fulfill his commission from God. So, you also need to work.

The love of work is the secret to personal progress and fulfillment, as work releases potential. When you refuse to work, you deny yourself, it’s like stealing from yourself and others. The greatest safeguard is to understand the purpose and nature of work, and to live from that knowledge. God is concerned with our use of our skills and talents. We must be good workers, not good job keepers. Work is a Blessing and not a punishment.

Work is God’s tool to make us fruitful and productive. His assignments and activities always involve work. Work is God’s gift to help you discover potential. There’s hidden stuff in you, that work reveals, so don’t be lazy because laziness aborts potential. Therefore, the purpose of work is to Bless you and to release your potential.
