From the Pit to the Palace

“For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.”
Joseph whilst in the comfort of the tent of Jacob, was trained and developed and nurtured and yes, he had a dream. There was no time duration for the dream he was given. To fulfil the dream, he had to take a journey away from the familiar which resulted in a pit experience, a slave experience and a prison experience. All of this was a relationship test as to, who would he choose to believe or rely on, man or God?
Success however could not elude him. He passed the pit test and God sent him a deliverer and he passed the slave test which God allowed him to be directed to the prison and favor followed to insulate and protect him. He passed the prison test by the wisdom of God and the calling as a dream interpreter graced him to enter the next phase of his life. He arrived at the court of Pharaoh to fulfil his destiny – what was that? To become the 2nd ruler of the land so that one day his people could be delivered from Egypt through Moses and it was a temporary station for the people of God.
All these men chose to make God the center of their lives and God brought them to their expected end of good success and they fulfilled the purpose to which they were called. The vision of the promise must be strong and big in your heart, bigger than any challenge or opposition you may face. So, be persistent, steadfast, resilient, unshakeable and be a man and woman of influence and favor will continually open doors for you. Persist and fulfill your purpose and be a man and woman of faith because without faith it is impossible to please God. 1 John 5:4
