Your Hiding Place

The Prophet Habakkuk calls on the whole earth to be silent in the Presence of the Lord and to worship Him. Quiet time, we call the time that we reserve for God – when we read from His Word, listen to His Voice and talk to Him in person. Every Christian needs Quiet Time in Their day. A time when we can be refreshed, when our strength can be renewed, when we can be comforted in times of sorrow, when we can get courage to face the problems that confront us daily.

Your Quiet Time is the time to feel God’s arms around you and to delight in His presence. If you are not spending enough time with God before starting your busy day, do something about it Now. Find a Special time you can focus on God, when you can sit in the shadow of His wings and listen to His Voice. It is essential that you find time for this. God wants to equip you for the demanding day that awaits you. God is there for all who seek Him. He is near to those who call on Him. All you have to do is find time for Him and be silent before Him. There in the shadow of His healing wings, He will provide you with everything you need. As you acknowledge Him, He will acknowledge you.
