I Have the Power of God Behind Me

“Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
You have authority and power over any adverse circumstance. However, you must first understand and then walk in that authority. Satan will do everything in his power to get you to relinquish that authority. But you must stand firm, knowing that no weapon he forms against you will prosper! You have now taken His place and as you go out to proclaim the good news, He works with you, confirming the Word through signs, wonders and miracles that accompany you.
Let us now consider the meaning of the above two words, namely Authority and Power. The word Authority means: to have charge, command, domination, dominion, government, influence, jurisdiction, might, power, rule, strength and so on. The word Power means: Ability, capability, capacity, potential, energy, brawn, force, might, muscle, potency, strength, command, control, dominion, influence, license, right and so forth.
When you consider the meaning of these two important words, you begin to realize the fuller meaning of the opening Scripture. You ought to meditate on these two words and let it enter deep into your spirit being. You certainly have Power and Authority in this world over unseen powers of the enemy.
