You Are Blessed!

“And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings”
This is such a beautiful text. While Egypt experienced darkness, all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived. When things seem to trouble you, stand on God’s Word. Psalm 91:10 states that evil cannot come to your household. You are a child of light. While others in the world experience darkness, you should experience light. In other words, you are blessed.
In John chapter 16, Jesus Himself says that he has deprived the world of Power to harm you. Exodus 10:23 says that when thick darkness surrounded the Egyptians, the Israelites enjoyed light where they lived. They did not have to live like the world. God never intended for us to experience all the junk the world suffers.
God wants his children to live above what the world experiences, in other words, to enjoy blessings above measure. So begin to put God’s Word to work and dare to receive all He has promised you. Then let the light of God’s Power light up your world so that you can be a blessing.
