“For every one that useth milk [is] unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
As you begin to study God’s Word, you have to put it into practice in your life. The Word of God will cause you to mature and give you wisdom beyond your years. You will cease to live a “up and down” life once you are mature. After that you are Born again and grounded in the basics of Christianity, you must go onto maturity by leaving the elementary teachings of the Word.
The word for perfection (*Greek. Teleiotes) has both an absolute and a relative sense. This is God’s will and plan for your life. That you do not remain a babe in Christ, but that through the Word of God you mature in the faith
That is why it is so important for you to attend all the Church services in your local Church. It is through the preaching, teaching and instruction that you can grow in faith. Make every effort not to miss services. It is God’s plan for you to receive teachings through your local Church, so that the end result is that you are brought to maturity. Be ready for the meat of the Word, which through constant consumption brings you to maturity in your Christian life. Do not be slow to learn and as you learn leave the elementary truths.
