You Are God’s Temple!

I will never forget the first time I looked at a scan of my unborn grandchild. It was explained to us in great detail where the little head, legs, arms, hands and feet appeared on the blurred image. While looking at this miracle in front of me, I instinctively thought of Psalm 139:13-14: “For you created my innermost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful”

Of all the wonderful things that God created, man is by far the most wonderful. It is amazing how intricately He has “knit us together”. Through the years, scientists have succeeded in doing many wonderful things, but no one but God can create life. “Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture,” says the psalmist (Ps. 100:3). You are a creation of God – He is your Creator. All you have comes from Him. Because He created you, you belong to Him. Never forget to glorify Him for creating you so wonderfully. Also thank Him for all that He has done for you through the years. Begin to live your life in thankfulness.
