You Are in Christ Jesus

There are two phases of this Righteousness. 1. God declares you Righteous. It doesn’t matter what you think about yourself. What matters is what does God think of you as a New Creation being. This is what He says, “You are Righteous!” The problem with people is that they battle to accept their Righteousness because satan has given them a sin-consciousness perspective.

So, you start to talk about all the ugly things that you did in your past. satan tries to tell you how bad you are. Jesus has declared you Righteous; it’s for you to accept it. It is a gift for you to grab. A gift has to be appropriated. A gift has to be enjoyed. You cannot work for a gift. You cannot labour for a gift. A gift is free, freely given to you. So what does God say? He says, “You are acquitted!” He says, “You are free from sin.” And then there are the two phases of Righteousness:

1. You are declared Righteous and 2. You are a New Creation in Christ.When people talk about you and condemn you and bring up your past, you say to them, “that man has died!” He died with Christ. A new man has now arisen. Hallelujah! You’re a Son of God. You don’t have to try to be a Son. This is now your heritage and life. *“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:24.*
