God Is My Rock!

“In God [is] my salvation and my glory.”
Psalm 62 is a Psalm of confidence. It contains thoughts of confidence and expressions of trust. These expressions are rich with figures that picture the absolute stability of being found in God. At least five nouns describe God’s Protection. They are: 1. Rock 2. Salvation 3. Defence 4. Glory and refuge.
Let us now look at another verse of Scripture: *“Truly in vain [is salvation hoped for] from the hills, [and from] the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God [is] the salvation of Israel.” Jeremiah 3:23. Rest for your soul can be found in God alone. There are times to wait in silent submission, and in great hope and earnest expectation of the wonders He will perform in your life. He alone is your Rock and Salvation. He is your deliverer who sets you in the place of highest honor. This kind of confidence and trust makes you unshakable, immovable and an ever ready warrior in His army
Your heart belongs to your Heavenly Father. He shows His love for you by all the rewards you experience. He alone is your strength by which you live. You are now established in the faith. *“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him” Col 2:6. You see Christianity is called “The Faith”. God (The Word) is indeed your Salvation
