The Word of God to the New Creation Man

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”
The Word of God is so important. The Bible is no ordinary book. It is the Logos of God. It is the Father speaking to His beloved children. When you read the Word, it is as though Jesus stands next to you and speaks to you personally.
The Word of God has the Life of God. “*For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Hebrews 4:12-13.*
The Word of God in our daily lives takes the place of Christ. As our Lord and Master walked and talked to His disciples, He does that today, by the Word of God. Now this Word feeds your inner man. It feeds your spirit. When you read it, it imparts faith into your spirit. As you read study and meditate on the Word of God, your whole life is enriched and built up. Therefore, as you go through your day let your mind dwell on the Word of God. This Word will quicken you and empower you to live victoriously.
